Robin David, born on 3rd October 1950, is one of the pioneers of the sculpture art in Central India. He spearheaded the move to establish that time non-existent sculpture department in Gwalior Art College from where is completed his National Diploma in sculpture in 1977. He has conducted more than a dozen solo exhibitions in cities like New Delhi, Mumbai and many more in India. He has actively participated in and curated artist Symposiums both in India and around the world, in places like Turkey, Italy, and Mexico and has bagged umpteen awards and has made a mark in National and International art scenario with his unique style. His style of working and carving stone of monumental scale has encouraged artists to also work on the grandeur that the sculpture can offer. He is a living legend who inspires one to dream big and to have the courage and will to achieve big.
